Not every car has autodrive, though you’ll see some classic cars about on the streets – you can’t autodrive these, nor motorcycles. Now sit back, enjoy the radio, and take in the sights of London on your very own tour. Set your waypoint on a map, jump in a car, and press ‘A’ (or ‘X’ on PS4) to set it to autodrive. You can drive just about any vehicle in Watch Dogs Legion, and many of them have an ‘autodrive’ feature. Put a vehicle on autodrive from time to time. Whipping out your camera is the best way to do that. It can be easy to get wrapped up in the constant flow of missions that you forget to slow down a minute to take everything in. Admire the game’s beauty by stopping to take a photo, whether it be of your surroundings or something cool you’ve seen happening on the street. You can access Watch Dogs Legion‘s photo mode by pressing in both thumb sticks at once, and we absolutely recommend that you do this from time to time. There are street performers, people being strange for the sake of it (we found a man shouting into a traffic cone once), shops to peruse, and some beautiful locations to see. But even if you don’t find anything to aid your progress in the game, just taking in the sights and sounds is rewarding enough. You’ll come across new recruits and side activities, like a game of keep-up in the park, or a civilian in need of your help. London is huge, and while Watch Dogs Legion‘s version is cut down somewhat, there’s still a tonne to see and do. Go down that side street, see what’s happening down on the riverfront. This one sounds obvious, but you should absolutely take the time to explore when playing Watch Dogs Legion. To that end, we’ve put together some tips to help you get the most out of the game.
